Baby, you’re a firework

Fourth of July is around the corner and everyone will be enjoying fireworks, barbecues, and fun times with friends and family this week.   As Katy Perry so fabulously says in her song… Firework wave your true colors this holiday and show them what your worth.  So here are a few of my finds to ignite your inner light and shine…

Wouldn’t these shorts by Sequin King be cute over your bathing suit with a white t-shirt on top?  They are only $28.99, so go grab yourself some and enjoy the summer with a patriotic twist.

Or, if you want to be a bit more conservative, why don’t you try wearing a white eyelet shift dress similar to the one below?  I have seen them everywhere this summer…from Old Navy to Neiman Marcus…find one that is fun and fabulous that fits your budget.

Salute the season and show off your nails with this  bright tomato red nail polish from Essie.  I think the color is the perfect shade for summertime.

Pair the dress with these shoes and keep the colors of red, white and blue true when you wear these espadrilles I found on Amazon for $32.00!

Carry this adorable clutch to accessorize your Fourth of July outfit in style by Straw Studios for about $70.00

And when you are done with all of your Fourth of July festivities, take a yoga class from my friend Molly and wear these shorts by Ragstock for $14.99 to keep the holiday fun a float.

So, as you are celebrating the Fourth let’s all salute Katy:

‘Cause baby you’re a firework
Come on, show ’em what you’re worth
Make ’em go “Oh, oh, oh”
As you shoot across the sky

Here is wishing you a safe and fun-filled fireworks display in your world on Wednesday.  Remember, you might as well show everyone what your worth.  What do you have to lose?
