I love L.A.Posted: August 6, 2012
Below is a pictorial of one of my first nights in Los Angeles last week. These photos sum up one of the many reasons why I love this city. A big thank you to my new friend Tamara for the fantastic pics.
Go grab a drink on The Standard Hotel rooftop when you get done with work. It is an André Balazs Property in downtown L.A. and the perfect mix of cool and hip in a relaxed atmosphere. The views of the skyline are killer and a fun way to chill and unwind after a long day.
Sit in a metal pod with a water-bed and consume your cocktails. Listen people, this is a lot of fun….
See don’t we look like we are having a great time? Well we are…
So, when it was time to leave our water-bed rooftop pod where did we have dinner? Well, we dined in style at the famous 74-year-old Pink’s Hotdog stand in West Hollywood.
Standing in line for 30 minutes is worth the wait as there is something very delicious about these creative creations. My personal favorite is the cole slaw dog and it is yummy for your tummy.
Or, you might want to try a Martha Stewart dog, the Ozzy Spicy or the Rosie O’Donnell dog…the combinations are endless.
This photo shows that we were very excited to order our delicious $20.00 meal that fed all three of us. The night was a perfect example of how L.A. is the rockin’ combination of a relaxed vibe filled with sophisticated style. Stay tuned for my next posting as there is more fun to come in L.A. at the Chateau Marmont…xoxo
