Blurred LinesPosted: August 3, 2013
In my opinion, (and this is my blog so….) someone who has a fabulous sense of style and fashion is like a
blurred line. (Yes, I am a bit obsessed with Robin Thicke’s new CD release, but keep reading as I am going somewhere with this).
It is that blurred line when defining your style that makes you interesting. Whether you are decorating your house or choosing your clothes, when you mix the couture with the casual you become a stand out.
Here are my latest obsessions….So everybody get up!
Love me some Lanvin and these black patent ballet flats are so iconic. They are an investment at $495.00, but will last for years. Pair them with these fab basic, black leggings from Soprano for about $20.00 and you are good to go.
I bought my leggings at Loehmann’s and they are perfection. I have owned others that are more expensive, but these are the best combination of classic, hip and cool…
Speaking of cool, I found this gem at Love Culture for about ten dollars. Grab one because our friends at Lanvin just debuted theirs for their Fall 2013 collection for about $1,000.00 bucks. Their version is below:
So now that I saved you a cool 1K, go use that grub and get yourself a Goyard bag. Goyard is so old school which makes it so beyond cool. Plus, you can only buy the bags at a few stores in the United States, so that means you won’t see everyone on the street rockin’ your same style. Who wants that? Not me. Or you, because you are reading this blog.
Finish off your face with the best powder around right now. For about $5.00 grab Rimmel’s Stay Matte compact. You can’t beat the price or the product.
I hope you enjoyed my mix of fun and fab finds. Walk your own path today. Remember, it is ok if the lines are a bit blurred. That just makes life, fashion and design more fabulous….XOX
